Education

Goldsmiths, First Class Honours

Media & Communications with Animation

My stop motion short film Moss received a distinction for concept, set, and execution. My second and third-year 2D animated films Concrete and The Mime were both awarded a first.

The academic modules I studied focused on film theory, film history, gender studies, and the politics of memory. Consequently, this allowed me to learn how to analyse and dissect narratives and respond with my interpretation.

Fine Art, Italian, History of Art, 2015

Studying fine art and life drawing in Florence proved instrumental in refining and developing my animation skills. Learning to draw the form of the human body, both static and in motion, allowed me to observe the proportions of the body, and also how individual components of the anatomy work in unison to enable motion.
